Online PYP Exhibition

On the thirteenth and fourteenth of May, fifth graders were engaged in an international online communication with Hong Kong Academy exhibits as well as other virtual visitors surfing the blog. After introducing the blog and explaining how to deal with its different parts, they have independently enjoyed looking at the interesting photos and videos that reveal the HKA’s process of exhibition. Besides, our exhibits had the opportunity to read other students reflections and eventually promote their critical thinking. Thus, it was a learning experience that allows students to gain new perspectives and make connections between the exhibition of Hong Kong Academy and theirs. In addition, students undertook this experience as a chance to learn how to communicate effectively. It has been evidence on our learners’ international mindedness and emphasis on the exhibition as being a learning experience to explore global issues and do actions in the local community.
