In an attempt to ease Secondary students’ minds and revitalize them before the midyear exams, the administration decided to organize a trip to Dunes, Beirut, where students watched the block buster 3D movie “Avatar” on Wednesday, January 25, 2010. On that day, almost all students were not only thrilled but also moved by the movie’s fabulous events, original scenery, and profound theme. Despite its long duration of two hours and forty minutes, most students were having full concentration, and others wished it would never end. This feedback was taken when teachers brought the movie up and eagerly listened to the students’ positive reflections. It was fascinating that most students identified the message of unity, world peace, and individuality and associated them to real-life situations. In fact, it was such a remarkable experience that left an indelible impression on students for years to come!
