"Celebrating the 66th
anniversary of Lebanon's Independence, the High School Student Council
organized a simple yet entertaining celebration consisting of a talent
show where students had the opportunity to express their feelings and
abilities in creative ways, revealing remarkable talents. The talent
show was held in the meeting room where it was enriched by the acts and
performances of Grade 10 and 11 classes which brought warmth and joy
into everyone's hearts. The talents in the show ranged from singing,
rapping, reciting patriotic poems ,to playing the piano and guitar, to
dancing and acting. The celebration ended by announcing the winning
sports teams and giving medallions and trophies to congratulate the
winners, where each student that participated was also rewarded with a
certificate for his/her efforts in making this event a success.
Furthermore, the students' performances displayed enthusiasm and
dedication as every and each one of them wanted to show the love and
appreciation that he/she held for Lebanon."
