All of us step out of this experience "changed" for the better, each having bigger dreams, wider knowledge, and great confidence. Now, we are able to see the world from another view, another perspective, a bigger picture, in ways we’ve never encountered before. It has been an amazing experience, an enriching program. Not only did we learn about global issues and affairs, but also we gained friendships, leadership skills, etc. Besides, we have learned that in some way or another we are all connected; the whole world is connected. Honestly it was incredible to see young people or should we say “young leaders” from all over Lebanon, from all different backgrounds and beliefs, gathered in one place, sharing ideas, laughs, diplomatic moments, and making friends. Today, we look at our fellow friends, and cannot help but notice the extra confidence and knowledge that shimmers in their eyes, echoes in their minds, and beats in their hearts… The nights we spent doing researches, writing position papers, preparing speeches, helping each other, and working truly as a team are forever carved in our hearts and minds. It was both a working and fun journey, we would learn then swap stories at lunch time of what happened during our classes. We even shared funny anecdotes on the way back home that left everyone with endless giggles and laughs; we talked, debated, and got the chance to meet one another which really brought us closer .We got to experience the thrill, nervousness, and excitation that runs through veins as we approach the podium, bend a little to reach the microphone on the stage, and deliver an empowering speech to more than a hundred people, yet manage to stay confident and calm at the same time. Furthermore, for us, what made it even extra special and extra fun was having the opportunity to share this whole eye-opening journey with each other along with a lovely sweet witty advisor. So we’d like to thank everyone, as we will never ever forget our giggles, laughs, fun bus rides, lunches, and endless hours in class. Everyone put so much heart and effort in this program, and it really paid off, as every and each one of us walks away from this as a winner, a leader, a better person, and that we believe does not need any title to prove. “
