An Environmental Call !!

Teaching our learners how to keep our environment clean is a main and essential issue in our PYP programme. A field trip to the dump mountain in Saida city was organized to our KG 1 learners to observe and inquire about the cleanliness of their city.

They were very excited and happy on their way next to the sea shore but seeing the large amount of wastes on it, surprised them and here where their inquiries began. Later, they saw the huge dump mountain while big trucks are throwing the garbage on the top of it, without respecting the safety rules of our environment.

Through this experiential field trip, the brains of our little learners were triggered to think about the problem in order to take actions and suggest solutions.
