The Guidance
Department at the High School is responsible for ensuring that all third
secondary students make a smooth transition to the university; however,
such an important transition needs the collaboration of different poles
to be that successful. To this end, Houssam Hariri High School hosted an
AUB orientation session for Grade 12 students along with their parents
where together they got the opportunity to meet with university
administrators, learn about the various academic programs, campus life,
admission requirements, tuition fees, and anything else that would help
them make a fertile decision.
By the end of the presentation, parents felt more confident guiding
their children and much more comfortable leaving their children begin
their academic university life. As one parent put it, "The orientation
provided valuable information! The decision is now easier to be made."
