Believe it or Not, I Met Shakespeare!

William Shakespeare, a famous British poet and play writer in the 16th century, had an obsession that wanted to conquer death and time by letting his glorious work immortal. After years of writing successful plays and sonnets, Shakespeare accomplished his dream; since after hundreds of years I actually met his artistic work. You are probably wondering how this happened, well here it is. Couple of months ago, Adam Coleman, an actor in the Shakespearean globe in England, came to saida and introduced the Shakespearean brightness of examining the human mind and evolving it in his plays and sonnets. He engaged me, among other students from other schools, in a bunch of activities. These activities dealt with mental and brain activities and exercises such as cooperative group work, complex commands and much more. After these activities, I realized that Shakespeare is a mark in literature’s history books, and all people must be introduced to his work deeply. After this workshop ended, I thought of spreading the Shakespearean experience that I went through with my classmates since it is really interesting. Thanks to Miss Zeina Dbouk who gave me the chance to introduce this experience to the class. The teacher told the class and the other section as well, and all were interested. We went to the playground and started the activities after a small introduction discussing the aim of them. At the end, all enjoyed the activity, since it is fun and educational; nevertheless the astonishment they were in for being introduced to this historical phenomenon, made me proud of my accomplishment.
