Engineering Day at Beirut Arab University
On the 17th of May 2011, Grade 11 students attended the BAU (Beirut Arab University) “Open doors” activity (in Debbieh campus) which aims at promoting BAU to Junior High School Students. The students were provided with the necessary information and services needed to make an informative decision about their university education. And you could feel the students’ enthusiasm and keenness as they charged into the campus, visiting the various departments and faculties from halls to labs, asking questions, and interacting with the students. Moreover, it was Engineering Day, so the university students had the opportunity to exhibit their science projects and share their expertise with our students who seemed to enjoy engaging in all the activities and explanation. Overall, it was a very valuable and useful activity for grade 11 students as they seriously begin to think about their future and their academic ambitions.
