Have Fun in the English Reading Club

In an attempt to indulge students in the community, the Secondary School has assigned a community service session through which students join different clubs according to their preferences. The English teachers for the Secondary level have decided upon a Reading Club, which sharpens the students’ reading abilities through reading various genres and performing several fun activities that would reinforce the community service through reading stories to struggling readers at their school and other schools, illiterate janitors, children at the orphanage, and cancer children at AUH.
The first session was such a success that almost all the students were motivated as they were introduced to fun activities about famous Shakespearean plays. Through this activity, they learned how to express themselves using the angry tone, pitch of voice & appropriate body gestures.
